Am I thinking the forum dead? Or just I am from Asia and most of u from Europe and America then when I'm online no one online but when I'm not online somebody online or so many people online or the people from Asia is little and passive so when I'm online I don't meet any people. Please considering this, I'm bored visit the forum because few people online or no one online when I'm online.

Coming from a different time zone is part of the fact you can't see other people but there aren't many other members that are active. A lot of people here are inactive and pretty much everyone here came from WTF right after about the news when it was about to get shut down, which was only a small part of the WTF community. About 30 when forum was created compared to the amount of users on WTF.

The forum was alive, or at least more lively a while back. When I first joined there was a good amount of activity, then I fell of the face of the earth and when I came back, there wasn't as much activity.
I laugh a little at the fact that the shoutbox is the most active thing. I also die a little inside. My main forum, Crash Mania, is the opposite.
I really don't want to see this place die. I like you guys.

Because TTT2 and WTF is pretty much dead. What else is there to talk about?

I wouldn't know to improve the community. I joined WTF pretty late and I have no idea how WTF was earlier on.

As harsh as it sounds, Zuzu is right. Without contribution, nothing really goes on. That's why there was so much going on in WTF. Everyone did something to help out. But now that it's dispersing, not much people care to do such.

Lol I only play TTT2, I don't play other games at the moment. I just think this forum needs a bit more life. like more interesting threads or something. we could make a thread and a compilation of your Ragequits and mails. i heard from quite a bunch of people that you like to do that

The forum is dead probably because this was only told in WTF. Most ppl don't know about this site's existence and don't forget there is TZ that exists for years and most Tekken players know about it. Tekken for me doesn't rly look dead. I think it didn't change that much from before, except that there aren't any teams or replays.

And to add, the thread about Tekken Federation on WTF ended up being locked.

Tekken for me doesn't rly look dead. I think it didn't change that much from before, except that there aren't any teams or replays. Pretty much this word for word. People don't know about this site that is why its dying. The guests are all bots, there is no way 100 guests visit a day and not one of them joins, even if its only to post as a troll. I sent out a tweet to Harada and Aris asking for a retweet with the sites link and got no response. As for "Tekken is dead" lol Tekken is not dead. Maybe it's dead to you. But i play a lot and i get a lot of competition still. If you play at a reasonably high level and you can't find any competition, there is a perfectly good explanation that isn't "tekken is dead". People protect their ranks. When somebody gets to a level where they start losing they do one of three things. 1) they pick different characters so they can't fight people with a lower skill level then them and feel like a boss 2) start a new account because they only know how to play a small number of characters but the outcome is the same as no:13) They go to player match so they can play a game and not lose their rank I find it ironic that certain people don't already know this, as i know they do this themselves. As for the "Tekken is dead" because of the tourney scene argument, this i also disagree with. Tekken Global is happening at the weekend and for the first time ever is being streamed to us in the West. a few of weeks back i watch Tekken at the Fall Classic. I watched Tekken at EVO. I post links to Korean tourneys here. Tekken is still represented at WNF. Is Tekken as popular as Streetfigher? no, but them again no fighting game is. Is the Tekken tournament scene shrinking? Yes. Dying? Possibly. Dead? NO.

Instead, I put Asuka Duelist too, Lili Avenger, got some Warriors and raised a few other chars like Ganryu, Marduk, King and put all my chars Brawler +. And now, I play in another account to see if I can go further than Duelist with Violet.

When i went off on a bit of a rant about people saying "Tekken is dead" i should have been more clear, i wasn't talking about you. I was just talking in general to anyone who is saying "Tekken is dead"

It may not be the whole reason, but it's a big part why.
I agree with Grandm on this. Word for word.

Very few people gave a shit about WTF. Most people realize that win rate and rank means nothing. Main reason why people even got on WTF was to be nosey and see who was playing who. Namco shutting WTF down wasn't a downfall for the Tekken community and I'm sure they realized that. I liked to see how many people were spamming grabs and lows, the player cards showed quite a few people on this forum were guilty of it. I didn't care for the stupid forums on WTF, people mentioned that if the teams got shut down then they would no longer play TTT2, and I don't see many people from when WTF was active. No offence but you haven't played in a while, how would you know what TTT2 Ranked match is like ? nobody should feel guilty about grab and low spamming because theres nothing wrong with that

At the Fall Classic all i saw was Roger and Alex spamming Giant Swings and Jacks spamming Tombstone Piledrivers. At EVO BT basically won the whole thng with Orge's cheap ass grabs So if its good enough for a pro its good enough for me. I can't wait to see Global tomorrow and i bet there is plenty of low spamming. If i play a friend i will ease back on lows and grabs, purely cause i consider that to be casual. But if i come up against a stranger then "it's on" and i'll do whatever it takes to win. And i expect nothing less from my opponent.

And i expect nothing less from my opponent.Bronson Tran was tricking Knee, very clever, He ate random throws because he wasn't sure when Bronson would attempt waning moon, which takes more damage than the other grabs, clever strategy by Bronson. Giant Swing is not the easiest to perform, I am referring to the scrubs that spam 8 throws a match, I have grab spammed before, but that's only when I lose my cool and only intend on "getting that character that is annoying me by poking or playing like a noob. There a global tournament tomorrow, yeah I'll watch it, should be interesting. On ranked You do have to go full on to win, so I agree with you in some cases. Quit Rank!!!
