OK so this might be the strangest thing. I'm going to try and explain it. For years now people have been programming fighting game characters (there is a name for this but i can't remember what it is) So here is an example of what people have been doing. You would take someone from a game, like Ken from Streetfighter. But you're not just copying the Streetfigher version of Ken. You actually make you're own version. If you want your Ken to do a hurricane kick, you have to put the kick in frame by frame. Then you have to write the code to make the move work, giving it a value for damage and all complicated stuff like that Salty bets.com is a website where these player made characters fight, in a AI vs AI match. People bet on the matches with Satly money (fake money its not real money. Bet with fake money on fake fighting game characters having fake AI fights) But the thing is some of these characters are really broken and OP, whereas others are well balanced. Like you can have someone has gone to a lot of trouble to faithfully remake a Streetfigher who plays like the original, but they could be put against Peter Griffin who can take all there opponents health with one punch. Anyway its really hard to explain, i have tried my best, really you should see it for yourself. Even if you don't get involved with the betting its well worth just watching the fights. so check it out saltybet.com/
