I do not know about you people but I will extremely miss the tag play! On the other hand I don't doubt Namco will give us something to fill that hole in! I have no idea when will Tekken 7 comes around with Tekken x StreetFighter but it will definitely be a bittersweet feeling. Anyone care to share there thoughts on the subject?

If it looks and feels as good as TTT2 then i'll be over the moon. That being said i don't want a new Tekken to come straight away and kill off TTT2 i still want another year on it.

Well Harada has spoken about both TxSF and T7 this week. In the past hes said the story of Tekken would be continued in a game released for the 20th Tekken anniversary, Which is in 2014. This would indicate T7 will be released in 2014. Ah but wait T1 arcade was released in 1994 not the console version. The console version came out in 1995. Does this mean T7 arcade is coming out next year, and we have to wait till 2015 for T7 on console? Then there is TxSF, i'm not even sure if this game has an arcade release. Heres a little news clip about TxSF www.youtube.com/watch?v=4U0vk2XOt5c&list=PLFdg8AFOBih104XuGCLVKWpgsMTPmYMp6Nothing on release dates or expected dates or even hints at dates. But looking at this logically tho. Would Namco really wait till 2015 to release Tekken on the next gen consoles. I think TxSF will be out before T7 so they get something on the PS4 and Xbox One. Sorry that was a lttle off topic, as to your question, all T7 has to do to make me jump all over it. Is be released I'm still loving TTT2 tho

I give TTT2 atleast 2 more years and I will definietly play it until Microsoft shuts down the servers.

I don't think I'll miss the tag option too much. I mean the huge combo damage, the rage triggers and the gerd damn Laws! XD. When TxSF is released I may lose what's left of my social life.

When is tekken x street fighter coming out? Unfortunately it hasn't been announced but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't even hype it up and just release it.

I won't actually miss the whole tag thing all that much, I prefer playing 1v1 (though I always pick a tag team in TTT2 unless someone specifically wants to play 1v1!).
I just hope Tekken 7 doesn't get rid of all the characters I have suddenly started to enjoy playing (or in other words I hope they keep Angel in!)

i like using a team so I will miss the tag option. Tag 2 hasn't even been out for a year yet on console so I'm not really ready to move on yet. But since somebody brought it up, it worries me that such a great game has such a dwindling community and I feel like Tekken 7 is going to have to be something really exciting in order for Tekken to stay relevant. Of course, there will always be die-hard fans but this franchise seems to be in a bit of trouble, really. I just hope they don't dumb the game down for 7 but, since the depth and difficulty of the game is what's really turning players away, they might have to. They're gonna have to do something different. I just don't know what it is.
As far as converting to 1v1 goes, I don't think I'll have much trouble doing that. I still play T6 sometimes. But I do prefer the ability to tag.

Have to agree with you there, Western. The tag system really gives the whole game much more depth. Not only do you control TWO characters, but thanks to that you can balance out playstyles, maximize juggle-damage for characters that usually would do little damage (and so far juggle damage is much more balanced compared to older Tekken games where easy to pull off 3-hit juggles did 90dmg), brings in the whole red-life-game (tagging out to heal red-life) and even rage/netsu power (Kuma beomces enraged much more faster if Panda gets damaged, and you can sacrifice rage for a tag crash) etc
Another thing i'm concerned about is if all my favorite characters will be playable again. Things look good for Kuni, since she's one of the more popular characters (she's even been added to TR before many other usually popular characters), but i like being able to play Alex and Miharu too. And Roger Jr and Xiao are NOT an alternative for me, since it's the character i like, not the move-set. ("Oh, you can't play Alex anymore? Well, just play as Roger jr, duuh!!") <-- Just nope.
But oh well, i think Harada is going to take his time until the next Tekken.
