Okay, so I was messing in da lab with Lei/Devil Jin....
Apparently, D.Jin's laser (3+4~1+2 aka flying laser) is guaranteed after Lei's f3,1,2 tag assault.
This is my combo notation for that: ewgf - ff3,1~ff - 2 - d/f1+2+5 (TA) f3,1,2, then quickly input flying laser
I have tested all possible movements to avoid the laser and the best way I found is by tag crashing; although there will still be damage dealt to the opponent (around 30-ish iirc)
Try it if you have time, it's so cheap I love it
This also works with Devil Kazuya and Angel.

It is pretty consistent.. I've tested it many times and it is really guaranteed (tested it both on CPU and person). They may only escape the tech trap if your angle during the laser is not linear to theirs.

Lol I tried it. I forgot to see it in Practice Mode but I was in rank match, did it in the end of a a match against a Lili/Jun spammer (sent me a message saying "Dirty" xD), he tech rolled, tried SS but still got hit. Thx xD
EDIT: My next match after sending this message was my promo to Fighter with Lei but nothing to Devil Jin. I guess he had negative points :/

I might try this team myself, I need to learn Lei first, haven't played him since Tekken 5, really hard character to use.
Jfsl98, have you done every character to Brawler and Higher XD ?

I might try this team myself, I need to learn Lei first, haven't played him since Tekken 5, really hard character to use. Jfsl98, have you done every character to Brawler and Higher XD ? Yup. It was today. I've put Alex/Panda first then Steve tagged with Kuma and then I had to play solo with Kuma and finally I did it xD |
